Is Atticus Finch an excellent father to Jem and Scout? Frankly, it is a great question that should be answered. Normally fathers are unfamiliar to care of their child, and not quite as revered as mothers, but Atticus was an excellent father who took care of his children as well as a mother. In the story To Kill A Mockingbird written by Harper Lee, shows all the qualities and everything that a father should be, by Atticus's episodes. Atticus is a man who has a courage, consideration and always acts in a same way as what he considers the right thing to do. He is a great teacher, lawyer, friend, mother, and hero to his children; Scout and Jem. In Harper Lee's fascinating novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, Atticus is an excellent father, because he becomes a good role model, allows a freedom to his children, and teaches good behavior.

Who is the most influential person in a childhood? Actually, their parents. Children choose their role models who influenced them at a young age. Most likely, the role model affect to the children's development into adulthood because when children choose their role model, they want to be a exactly like that person. In the story To kill a mockingbird, Atticus was a good role model to his children, because of his personality and behavior. As when we look at Atticus's personality, he is such a perfect person. He is a representative in a town, Maycomb who is trusted by the town's people. He respects other people, and no matter what the consequences are, he always stands for the right things.
