Kony 2012/2013 - My Opinion By: Claire 6M
Throughout the last two weeks, we have learned about Joseph Kony, who is an African warlord and the leader of the L.R.A (Lord's Resistance Army). As a class, we watched the Kony 2012 video, listened to a radio recording, watched part 2 of the Kony 2012 video, and also read an article about the organization Invisible Children (an organization which helps those affected by the L.R.A.)
After our group discussions, a number of issues arose. An issue that I found interesting and would like to write about is Money. I will state the advantages, disadvantages, and my opinion about money.
I think that an advantage of money is that it gives you a lot more possibilities, and your options become pretty much endless! I believe that this is a positive aspect of money because when your options are endless, it is a lot easier to do things that are effective and will easily help the situation.

Ugandan districts affected by Lords Resistance Arm...A scenario like this, catching the most wanted criminal in the world, Joseph Kony, who has committed crimes such as abducting kids, manslaughter, displacing many people and more, is quite a challenge. For example, if you were making a plan to capture Kony, it would make life a lot easier if you had more options available, and money opens up a lot of those other options. The more you have, the better you can choose an effective and safe plan. Another advantage to money is related to the last advantage that I stated; this advantage is unlimited resources.
