America has gone through a lot of hard times and a lot of good times. This country has been built up through an idea called "freedom"� and that is why it is the country it is today. There is one special landmark that shows that the United States is one of the greatest countries in the world: that landmark is the Statue of Liberty. The Statue of Liberty is a great symbol and is recognized all throughout the world. The Statue of Liberty represents freedom and is respected by everybody in the world today.
