Relationships are the most important things in life. And marriage is one of the most important relationships. But more important is who arranges the marriage, whether it's ourselves or someone else like our parents or friends. The issue has taken the place of an important social problem. Different people have different opinions coming from different age groups from the different parts of the world. Marriage as we can see is a commitment of spending the rest of our life with someone. This has a great impact on our life, career and personality. So, should we let our parents or friends decide so much for us? Ever society is different, but I feel that pre arranged marriages do not work out good and one must know who there are committing to before they marry.

A marriage is successful when you have two people that have known each other and have built a relationship and that are now getting married.

I believe that arranged marriages are a social injustice. I feel that they deprive individuals of their choice. Marriage is a commitment of two people who have made a vow to love each other till death. People must find someone that they care deeply about and know that marriage is the right thing. With someone that has not seen their husband/wife until the marriage ceremony is very wrong because they are not in love. Most countries to arrange marriages through social factors like money and power rather love and commitment. Arranged marriages have been around in parts of the Middle East and Asia as long as the institution of marriage itself. In the arranged world, they say marriage comes first and love later.
