Abstract

This study was made as an attempt to deepen the knowledge of various issues regarding the human evolution. In this essay we have made an effort to find answers to questions concerning human and canine co-evolution. Thus, the research question in this essay was how the wolf has been domesticated and in which ways the domestication benefited Homo sapiens. Furthermore we researched about the upcoming opportunities due to this domestication. After an extensive literary research, there have been found facts about how the wolves got a relationship with us human. We have enlightened a few theories and speculations about how the co-evolution could have occurred according to researchers. Facts and theories suggest a reciprocal relationship between wolves and humans.

Although researchers have various views about how this co-evolution began, there is much evidence suggesting that both dogs and humans are benefited of this relationship. After analysing the facts and theories, it is clear that no specific conclusion could be found regarding to human and dog co-evolution.
