Masonry This company is not departmentalized and does not have any part time employees.

The office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The laborers hours are from 6:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with does not have a mission statement.

Policies . They must wear long pants, work boots, and a t-shirt with sleeves. No tank tops are allowed. Hard hats are to be worn at all times.

Starting salaries Foreman's $22.00 an hour Mason's $18.50 an hour Laborer's $10.00 an hour Estimator $22.00 an hour Employees are paid on a weekly basis and are paid on every Friday.

Vacations Foreman's get two weeks paid vacation after two years of employment.

Mason's get one week of paid vacation after two years of employment.

The Estimator gets one week after tow years of employment.

There are no phones on the job site. Cell phone use is not permitted on the job by laborers.

Personal are limited and monitored.

J & S Masonry does not belong to a union.

The pay raises at this company are based on job performance and after some big jobs are completed.

Attendance plays a big part in deciding on pay raises.

Our work environment is kept safe by following OSHA regulations. Employees are required to wear hard hats and safety glasses. Safety rails have to be on scaffolding.

Water must be kept in the brick saws to eliminate dust. Dust masks must be worn when cutting brick. Safety harnesses are sometimes used.
