INTRODUCTION

McDonald's is a fast food restaurant which sells products such as hamburgers, French fries, and fish including soft drinks and milkshakes with desserts like ice cream and pie.

This fast food chain has been serving customers as a company since 1940 (Love) and has since become the largest in the world, serving over a billion customers to date. An international company of this size has a very large supply chain; two aspects of which will be covered within this paper.

Goals/Outline

Due to our significant interest within the food industries as well as our interest in helping the needs of businesses that require supply chain specialists. Our Supply chain project will examine McDonald's Supply and service chain with a focus on inventory management and customer service. Within the company, Head Office is constantly seeking help to solve problems of inventory management, as well as their production/service design.
