The Future of the Mid-EastWill it survive the prospering world?Over the past 25 years, the world has witnessed many crucial and route-changing events of many countries, such as the fall of communism in Eastern Europe, the end of the apartheid in South Africa, and the collapse of Military Dictatorships in Latin America. Today, the Middle East is the only bloc of countries to hold out against political reform. Most Mid-East nations are still resisting democratic change, even though they continue to dominate the U.S. foreign policy.

"In many Middle Eastern countries, poverty is deep and it is spreading, women lack rights and are denied schooling. Whole societies remain stagnant while the world moves ahead. As long as the Middle East remains a place where freedom does not flourish, it will remain a place of stagnation, resentment, and violence ready for export." once stated ex-president George W. Bush.

Many people believe that the Middle East will be the wandering sheep of the flock; that they will always promote terrorism, fanaticism, grand corruption, dictatorships, Illegal immigration, proliferation and a constant threat for the civilized world until they revolutionize, or in some cases, issue a complete reeducation for the people. Others believe that the only thing in the future in store for the Middle East is war, but not war against another nation, but war against themselves, the rich upper class against the poverty-infested lower class. The people of the Mid-East are a bit more educated then they were in the past, and they have finally realized that they don't have to live the lives they are living now. Before they believed it was their custom to live such ways, but now on the other hand think if other people are living good healthy lives, why cant they? Maybe a...
