This story is about how one man's life can turn into misery. After Ob's wife May died Ob was heartbroken. He didn't think he could live anymore. His daughter Summer was also devastated. She was adopted by May and Ob when she was little. But she was adopted when May and Ob were old. So when May died she still missed her even though she wasn't living with them for that long. So one day Ob, Summer, and Cletus traveled to Putnam County to see if they can find May's spirit. They don't have very much luck looking for May. They were pretty upset but they can still know when May is around or not. To find out more about this story check out "Missing May" By: Cynthia Rylant.
