Money is the Root to a Healthy Community

A healthy community is a community where people have good physical and mental health. The elements of a healthy community are, economy, health and wellness, education, arts and culture and the environment.

One of the most important components of a healthy community is the economy. Regardless of what community you live in, if you cannot afford or have access to the other essentials that make up a healthy community, it suffers. If people are struggling to provide basic essentials, such as food for their families, the economic structure in that community has failed. The economy and health are closely tied together. If you do not have the economics to afford healthy foods, such as fruits, vegetables and unprocessed foods, good health, physical or mental, will never be attainable. People who cannot afford to eat will find a way. It's called survival. Everyone has the natural instinct to try to survive.

The definition of survival is, "the state or fact of continuing to live or exist, typically in spite of an accident, ordeal, or difficult circumstances".

You can have the best educational system in the world, if it is not accessible to the entire community, its impact will not be felt. Every parent understands the importance of education. Especially if they were not afforded the opportunities themselves. A healthy economy is the key to providing access to good schools. If we focus on building up the economy in our communities, by supporting the businesses, they in turn will be able to provide jobs to the people in the communities who will then be able to afford to send their children to better schools.
