To Mr. Sammy Katz: You can't just go around ranting about anti-semitism and anti-israel sentiments being one and the same. That is not always the case, although one could probably make a good arguement otherwise. In a forum such as this one it is most effective to meet antagonists on a higher level, that of intelligent debate.

In this case, the author obviously got confused and used the wrong satndards of international relations to asses the U.S.-Israel relationship. He decided not to use logical, documented and accepted scholarhip and instead resorted to mindless drivel. Please excuse him.

Your comments ignore the fact that I was adressing. This paper is completely devoid of rational arguement and is almost laughable, excepting the seriousness of the issue at hand. Read it with an open mind and try to conceive of this as being a true description of any event or situation, past or present.

First of all, both you and Sammy get overly emotional when it comes to being pro-Israeli. Being pro-Israeli does not mean hating the idea of Palestine and being Palestinian. That is being pro-stupidity. You should be willing to discuss with Palestinians the situation and brainstorm about what could be a good solution to a situation as complex as this conflict. I am pro-Palestinian, clearly, as my father was a refugee forcibly removed from the lands of his ancestors. However, does this mean I hate the Israeli people? Does this mean I rant about terminology and how we should label the land? No. Israel has committed atrocities against the Palestinians. Palestinians have committed atrocities against Israelis. The only way to EVER resolve this conflict is by compromise- and if people such as you two are unwilling to tolerate opinions that differ from yours on an American website, how are Palestinians and Israelis ever supposed to get along?
