My principal values: my family and education
People have various reasons why going to university and getting an education is important for them. Some people go to university because that is expected of them, and others go because they have nothing else better to do. However, I am interested in going to university and obtaining a good education because it will benefit my family and me. My parents have this perfect life for me pictured in their heads, and the first thing they see me doing is going to a university.
As we all know there are many different types of people in the world with different ethnic backgrounds, culture and manner of living that are the cause of distinct values in a family. These family values differ from family to family world-wide. The most significant values are family unity and education. Family unity is a family being together in harmony. Family unity is regardless how bad a situation may be it will bring us closer together. Family unity is my family watching me grow from infancy to adulthood, guiding me with good values. Family unity is communicating with each other. Unfortunately, my parents were seldom around during my childhood. Therefore they were rarely home to guide me through good family values. Now that I am an adult my parents are persistent to spend time with me and teach me values not taught to me when I was a child.
I come from a family where both parents are with a college degree. My parents strongly believe that education is a value for future success.
