Many people throughout their whole lives go without some type of guidance. We go on living and making our own decisions, not really knowing if they are the correct choices. We continue roaming this earth not having the slightest idea of what our purpose actually is. When I accepted the Lord into my life I was no longer one of those people. I was no longer questioning. I was no longer wondering. My life's purpose was no longer unanswered.

It was the month of November in the year 2000, in the cafeteria of, Burton Middle School, where my friends LaKeisha Webb and Alexus Terry formally told me about God and his free gift. They called it witnessing. They started off by saying that God loves me, and turned to the well known John 3:16 in The Holy Bible. Next they told me that all of mankind have sinned and showed me in Romans 3:23.

Then LaKeisha and Alexus explained the result of sin by flipping to Romans 5:12. Then I had learned something I had never heard of before. They turned to the verses Ephesians 2:8-9, where they taught me that good works cannot get you into heaven, but by his grace are we saved. Then they explained his free gift to me. Romans 6:23 talks about the price of sin being death, but having God's son, Jesus Christ, is eternal life. And finally, after knowing and believing all of this you can become a new creature. To finish, they thumbed to the final verses, Romans 10:9-13 which read, "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For who ever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."...
