Nuclear energy is the world's largest source of emission-free energy which is produced by nuclear reactions.

Today, nuclear energy is the world's largest source of emission-free energy. Nuclear power plants produce no controlled air pollutants, such as sulphur or greenhouse gases. The use of nuclear energy in place of other energy sources helps to keep the air clean, because there isn't any harmful output after a nuclear reaction. Nuclear energy also avoids ground-level ozone formation and prevent acid rain The amount of energy which is produced in nuclear power plants is extremely high and it is not easy to see that nuclear energy also reduces the dependence on imported oil and that is why it is totally beneficial for the economy of a country. In addition, nuclear power is totally safe and reliable if we take a look at today's technological improvements about this branch.

Nuclear energy is used for things such as atomic bombs, hydrogen bombs and other nuclear weapons.

Nuclear energy can also be used for powering electricity-generating plants all over the world.

Environmental Protection:

If we compare nuclear energy with all other energy sources like petrol or coal, it is easy to see that nuclear energy does not have any significant effects to water land, air and wildlife and is it environmentally beneficial for mankind.

According to a research by Nuclear Energy Institute in USA, nuclear power plants do not emit harmful gases like carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen oxides. Researches made by Massachusetts Institute of Technology shows that nuclear power plants reduced carbon dioxide emissions by more than 90 percent in USA. The situation is also similar in other developed countries. Harmful gases, which are emitted by other power plants like thermal plants, which use coal or oil as a source, cause greenhouse...
