In 1985, Mr. Hashwani purchased the controlling shares of Pakistan Services Limited, which owned Inter Continental Hotels in Pakistan. These hotels were in bad shape and losing lot of money. Mr. Hashwani changed the name of this chain of Hotels, to "Pearl Continental Hotels."

Pearl Continental Hotel Hotel's mission is to win in service by proactively offering customers the most valuable assistance, information and support in a uniquely warm and caring manner.
