This paper will discuss organizational culture and behavior, diversity, communication, business ethics, change management and make a connection as to how they function inside an organization and with one another. The author will provide a brief analysis of the culture and behavior of one's organization.

Organizational culture is the personality of the organization. Culture is compelled of the assumptions, norm, values and tangible signs of the organizational members and their behavior. Organizational behavior is the study of the impact people, groups and structure have on an organization and its effects on the organization's behavior. It is very important to understand organizational behavior; it makes a different in how an organization or the people within an organization perform (Schermerhorn, 5). Culture can be sense within an organization, but not easily to express. When it comes to behavior within an organization, it can be easily expressed. For example, the culture within an hospital varies from that of a large corporation.

The behavior of an employee can impact the organization substantially no matter the size of the entity. The organizational culture and behavior may seem, as if, they are two different things, but they are one of the same, because one's behavior influences the organizational culture.

Furthermore, diversity within an organization refers to the variety of differences between people in an organization. Diversity has a lot to do with how people perceive others not only themselves. People perceptions affect their interactions. A lot of organizations are willing to spend resources on managing diversity. That sounds simple, but diversity encompasses race, ethnic, gender, age, group, tenure, personality, education, cognitive style, organizational function, background and more. An organization's competitiveness depends on the organizations ability the embrace diversity.
