Parents are hypocritical

Sex is a huge issue in today's society, with many risks involved. You could catch STDs such as gonorrhea, syphilis, herpes, genital warts, HIV and even AIDS, with some having the potential to kill you. If this is the case then where would some parents get the motivation to lie to their children about this topic?

Experts say that children learn the most about themselves, which shapes their personalities, within the first eight years of their lives. Throughout this point in a child's life they are continuously being lied to by their parents, grandparents, other relatives, friends of the family and even teachers. These very people that are supposed to lead the child on the right path, give guidance and support them make up fictitious characters to make the child behave.

Everyone knows the story of Father Christmas. If you don't, it's like this, some fat, jolly, old man with white hair, a long beard, rosy cheeks, a red suit and black shiny boots watches and checks up on you all year.

He has a list of names of every child on earth and keeps tabs on you to see if you're being naughty or nice. If you a good little girl or boy then at Christmas time this same fat guy will ride to your house on a sled, pulled by flying reindeer, climb down your chimney and leave presents for you, which were made by little Elves at the North pole.

Not once was the true and real reason of Christmas mentioned in the above paragraph! It's just a lie to make children be good all year. Other fictitious characters that parents have made up include the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy and the Boogie Man. Why would parents want to make up such lies, when...
