I was born in Brazil, on the 27th of June, 1986. That's where I lived until I was 8 years old, and then I moved to the United States for the first time. My father wanted to achieve a Master's Degreee in Marketing, but we had not moved to a little town in the state of Michigan for only his advantage. He also wanted me and my older brother to learn a second language because he believed we would greatly benefit from this experience. My dad was right, for what I gained from learning English became obvious to me soon after those years. After living in Michigan for three years, we returned to Brazil, and still at a young age, I realized that having learned english was one of the best things that had happened to me. I could easily achieve an A in English class, and sometimes to my enjoyment even correct the teacher when he was mistaken.

He had been offered a job at a Book Publishing Association, which was located in the state of Maryland. Once again, having learned English proved to be very beneficial. I was enrolled in High School and did not struggle with the language as much as I would have if I had not learned English at a younger age.
