I was born in Brazil, on the 27th of June, 1986. That's where I lived until I was 8 years old, and then I moved to the United States for the first time. My father wanted to achieve a Master's Degreee in Marketing, but we had not moved to a little town in the state of Michigan for only his advantage. He also wanted me and my older brother to learn a second language because he believed we would greatly benefit from this experience. My dad was right, for what I gained from learning English became obvious to me soon after those years. After living in Michigan for three years, we returned to Brazil, and still at a young age, I realized that having learned english was one of the best things that had happened to me. I could easily achieve an A in English class, and sometimes to my enjoyment even correct the teacher when he was mistaken.

Some years went by, and one day my father came home with the news our family was having the opportunity to move back to the United States. He had been offered a job at a Book Publishing Association, which was located in the state of Maryland. Once again, having learned English proved to be very beneficial. I was enrolled in High School and did not struggle with the language as much as I would have if I had not learned English at a younger age. Nowadays, my love for language and writing has grown so much I even want to persist a Degree and career in Journalism.
