PHYSICAL SCIENCE OF CHEMISTRY
Chemistry is a branch of physical science that studies the composition, structure, properties and chance of matter. Chemistry is chiefly concerned with atoms and molecules and their interaction and transformations. For example the properties of the chemical form between atoms to create chemical compounds. As such, chemistry studies the involvements of electrons and various form of energy in photochemical reactions, changes in phases of matter, and separation of mixtures. Preparation and properties of complex substances, such as alloys, biological molecules, and pharmaceuticals agents, are considered in specialized fields of chemistry. Chemistry is sometimes called the central science because it bridges other natural science like PHYSICS, GEOLOGY and BIOLOGY. Chemistry is a branch of physical science but distinct from physics. The etymology of the word chemistry has been much disputed. The history can be traced to certain practices, known as alchemy, which had been practiced from several millennia in various part of the world.
CHEMISTRY is very important within our daily lives. We are using it all of the time without even realizing it. Every time we wash our hands in the kitchen or the bathroom we are using chemistry as the bacteria on our hands is being destroyed and chemicals are working together within the product to ensure that this happens.
