Teenage Plastic Surgery The types of plastic surgery teenagers? get, and what they go through to get plastic surgery. It will also look at how society encourages teenagers to believe he or she needs plastic surgery, as well as the pros and cons of plastic surgery on teenagers.

Society has led many teenagers to look to different kinds of plastic surgery to solve their social problems despite the effects; the pros and cons are closely weighed.

There are many different types of plastic surgery; the more popular procedure involves the breast. The two main types of plastic surgery involving the breast are receiving breast implants or breast reduction surgery. Many females and males have naturally large breasts. Girls as young as fifteen can have large breasts, and this may cause pain in the shoulders and back. Sometimes the unusually large breasts can cause difficulty breathing. In cases like these, several girls rightfully get breast reductions.

Another natural phenomenon is Gynecomastia, which is a disease where men have excessive breast development. Many young men will have extra tissues taken out of their chest to decrease their breast size. Liposuction and tummy tucks are two other types of plastic surgery that are frequent operations among teenagers. Liposuction is the removal of unwanted fat in areas like the hip and thigh to achieve a slimmer look. Neither of these procedures will cure obesity, but they will help the patients reach their ideal weight. Rhinoplasty and Otoplasty are the most popular facial surgeries done on teenagers. Rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job is where the nose is reshaped. Otoplasty, ear pinning, is a procedure done to pin back ears.
