"How To Play Better Golf"

In the sport of golf the lower the score the better. So obviously the goal in this sport, is to get a low amount of stokes. With that in mind, you would want to play more warily and prevent losing your ball or hitting it in hazard areas; which include water, sand bunkers and hitting it out of bounds. Some of the things that you need to keep in mind while preparing your setup are the grip, the ball position and the alignment of the feet. Another key point is the short game. If your driver or tee off does not go as far, then your short game will help. All these key points will help you improve your golf scores.

In the game of golf the most important thing is the setup. The setup consists of the grip, ball position and alignment.

For the grip you need a tight, but not hard grip so you can hold something in your hand. For example, you should be able to hold an egg, without crushing it. The second thing you must keep in mind is ball position. Ball position for irons including 9,8,7,6,5,4,3 start from the middle and keep going to the left as clubs get longer, and also goes the same for woods. For instance, the nine iron is in the middle and three is more to the left side. The lower the numbers the longer the clubs, vice versa the higher the number the shorter the clubs. The final part in the setup is alignment. When you stand, your feet must be parallel like train tacks never meeting. Keep your feet at shoulder length apart.
