Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray for a man who's not a creep.

I turn on my fan to help my hot flashes.

I pray for a man who can help with my classes.

One who's handsome, smart and strong.

Send him quick, at my age I don't have that long.

One who thinks before he speaks.

One who calls and don't take six weeks.

One who loves children, but not in that way,

One who will be there and respect me the next day.

I pray that he's gainfully employed,

I pray that he won't get me annoyed

My mood swings lately are getting so bad,

I pray that he really won't mind playing dad.

I pray that he pulls out my chair and opens my door,

Massages my back and begs to do more.

I pray that he fans me and wipes my night sweats,

I pray that he does these things and does not fret.

Oh send me a man who will make love to my mind.

Know what to say when I ask, "How fat is my behind?"

One who'll make love till my body's a' itchin'

He brings ME a sandwich too, when he goes to the kitchen.

I pray that this man will love me to no end,

And never compare me to my best friend.

Thank you in advance and now I'll just wait,

For I know you will send him before it's too late.

My heart pounds hard and I am easily depressed.

I pray you send him to put an end to this stress.
