Like a thief in the night,
Through the Gardens of Eden,
My dying love I sought.
Perpeatual Dawn, the beauty of my life,
The soft caressing touch of a midsummer's rain,
Why, the withered fog engulfing the lake,
Withered Wood, why I wonder?
A carpet of envious green,
Stone with the softness of moss and spider's web.
This land of secret whispers...
Whispered love, why I ponder?
Mountains in misty hue,
Dark crevices, creeping on mountain sides.
This Moon Mountain of strange cries and lights...
Dew Drops on misty Clouds, why I wonder?
Dark trees and Woods of powerfull green,
Heartless woman, Deedless man...
The queen, The king...
One without the other, powerless, and torn asunder....
Why I Wonder?........... The dead cry, the living die
One without the other, powerless, and tornsunder....
This mysterious life of the Wiccan World....
Why I Wonder?........... Where these secrets kept from US?.....
........The answer to a million dreams........
........And yet no-one knows how much they fear........
......The dead or the living......
......Who knows what each is giving the other......
An unfinished tale
Your poem never cease to amaze me. I love poetry but mostof my poems are rather straight-forward and they rhyme. Readers truly have to "put on their thinking caps", so to say, to correctly analyse your poems.
Excellent work!
