Nations can greatly benefit due to increased global cooperation simply by the fundamentals of teamwork. When there are more countries to insist in solving a problem, whether is be financially or technologically or even just giving valuable advice and ideas. There are endless ways to solve problems worldwide, by working together; countries can obtain the most efficient, reasonable, and effective method. The Kyoto Accord is a great example of how a world can work together to change their policies to aim for a better world and a safer world for generations to come. Trans-national companies are another example of how countries can work together to provide for their people and their company. The Americans invading Iraq and their attempts for global/international assistance is a prime example of how to abuse international allies and friends.

The Kyoto Accord is a modern day example of a global cooperation act that has a similar goal in mind for all of the participants.

The goal is to achieve a better state of environmental health in our world. It is actually an amendment to the (UNFCCC). Countries that ratify this protocol commit to reduce their emissions of carbon dioxide and five other greenhouse gases, or engage in emissions trading if they maintain or increase emissions of these gases. The objective is the stabilization of greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system. The Protocol also reaffirms the principle that developed countries have to pay, and supply technology to, other countries for climate-related studies and projects.
