PR Campaign: Overview PaperTeam C has chosen Riordan Manufacturing as the team's virtual organization to research for the Public Relations Campaign. Riordan Manufacturing is an industry leader in the field of plastic injection molding. The company is owned by Riordan Industries, a Fortune 1000 enterprise with excess in revenues of $1 billion (Riordan Manufacturing, 2006). The organization has plants in Albany, Georgia, and Pontiac, Michigan.

Their most recent expansion took place in 2000 when it opened operations in China (Riordan Manufacturing, 2006). The entire fan operations of the company have been moved from the Michigan plant to China, leaving the plant in Michigan to be retooled for the best interest of the company. This has in turn caused a PR issue for Riordan Manufacturing.

In this paper, several details of the organization will be discussed to receive an outlook on the PR Campaign based on a scenario. The scenario is about how Riordan moved one of the companies manufacturing facilities to another country to maximize labor cost reduction.
