I wish that I could say that America is safe, but it's not. Since the first World Trade Center Bombing in 1993, and the Oklahoma City Bombing in 1995, and the recent September 11th attacks, America has increasingly became unsafe. In February 26,1993, a car bomb at the World Trade Center in New York City, New York expolded, killing six people, injuring thousands and causing massive damages. Not long before the attack, bin Laden who is head of the terroist organization Al-Qaida had indicated that he was about to launch a major attack on America. There have also been some more recent incidents that prove that America isn't safe. Their incidents include the attack on a Greyhound bus, the man who stormed into to the cockpit, and the hazardous material in the subway.

The nation's largest bus company isn't even safe to ride. Even though, this attack wasn't an act of terroism, still it was an attack.

The Greyhound bus crashed in Manchester, Tennessee after the attacker, Damir Igric slit the bus driver's throat with a razor or box cutter. Then Damir died by getting thrown through the window of the bus. Damir had been in the United States on a 30-day visa since March 1999. Now not only is traveling by air unsafe, traveling by bus worries many passengers.

In Chicago, Illinois a mentally ill man by the name of Edward Coburn, was a passenger on Flight 1238, he rushed up the aisle of the Boeing 767 toward the cockpit in apparent attempt to attack the pilot. Luckily, some of the other passengers stopped the man by using seat belts. These passengers were scared but were prepared to prevent another incident such as the September 11th attack.

Yet another incident which shows that America is not safe occured in Prince George's County Maryland. In this incident a twenty-three year old man entered the Metro Station without paying his fare. When the officer confronted him, the man sprayed cleaning solution in the air and then fired a round from a handgun. The man was also carrying a twelveinch blade. The passengers suffered from nausea, dry throats, and headaches.

Now do you really think that America is safe? Knowing that no matter what happens the United States is still vulnerable. We can't even trust our United States officials because they're the ones who are helping out with these viscous attacks. The Untied States own FBI informat, Emad Salem was the one who built the bomb that exploded in Oklahoma. So, how can America be safe if we can't even trust the FBI to protect us? Yet another evidence that America is not safe is the Oklahoma City Bombing in April 1995, which was caused by several bombs. But what was fishy about this incident was the fact that no ATF or FBI agents were in their offices when the balct happened. So, this boombing appeared to be an inside job once again. Then the September 11th attack on America proved that the United States government obviously doesn't take this country safety seriously. And if the United States officials are not keeping this country safe then who is. Unfortunately Americas is just not safe.
