Racism Will the ever torturous act of segregation ever come to an end? Will there ever be a day where blacks and whites can truly exist peacefully and equally? The outlook is highly doubtful. Animosity rules today and only seems to grow as time passes. Throughout history so many have tried and failed to provide a cure for such hated, but all have failed from an overall standpoint. Racism is a plaque that has spread its sickness over the entire world. The world is condemned to a sorrowful existence because in the game of racism, each opposing side will never surrender.
Many possible solutions have been proposed, yet have failed. People have come forth from all walks of life trying to pursuade us to love and respect one another. Abraham Lincoln proposed the emancipation proclamation to free the blacks from slavery and create harmony. Even though this was a great achievement, there was still a great barrier separating blacks from whites, racism.

The whites believing in their superiority wouldn't accept blacks as their equals.
