After world war I Germany was in a crisis, she was crippled by the Treaty of Versailles, and had to pay huge amounts of reparations and was blamed for starting the war. The people of Germany were desperate for things to go back to normal, Hitler believed that he was the solution to the problem.

From 1923 onwards Hitler and the Nazis rose to power in Germany and in 1933 Hitler was appointed as the chancellor. In this essay I am going to describe and explain the rise to power of Hitler and the Nazis.

Hitler was born in Austria in 1889 at the age of 19 Hitler applied to go to the Vienna academy of fine arts school, but he was rejected because of the lack of talent that he had. Hitler then stayed for 5 years in Vienna more little than a tramp. During this time Hitler became interested in politics and he started to hate socialist parties and he also hated foreign people and Jewish people.

In 1913 Hitler left Vienna and settled in Munich there he decided to join the army, Hitler got awarded many awards for his bravery. He worked as a V man in the army; he was a spy for the German army. In 1919 Hitler joined a party called the German workers party. He joined the German workers party because he liked their ideas, after a short while he became leader and renamed it the, Nationalist socialist German workers party but shortened as the Nazi party. From this time onwards Hitler's carrier changed a lot.

By 1921 Hitler had become quite successful in making public speeches and his main target of people to put down were Jews, democrats, and politicians. Hitler believed that the politicians betrayed their fatherland by signing the...
