The two successful revolutions of 1917 are known as the Russian Revolution. The first revolution overthrew the autocratic imperial monarchy. It all started with the revolt on February 23 to 27, 1917. In October 24 and 25, the second revolution opened with the armed insurrection. It was organized by the Bolshevik Party against the Provisional Government. It effected a change in all economic, political, and social relationships in the Russian society. A resolution put forward by Lenin regarding armed uprising was passed, by the Central Committee of the Bolshevik Party. Lenin took charge of the October Uprising, he was then elected the head of the Soviet Government.
