Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is a religion that is all over the world. This religion has a strong
belief in helping those who are poor. The Salvation Army helps many families across the world,
especially people who are at poverty level. The Army does not turn anyone away, even if they
are not Christian. They work with people on a daily basis to help them learn more about their
religion. The Salvation Army opens their church on certain days to feed the homeless and
whomever else that would like or need a free meal. Normally the meals are given on Sunday and
Wednesday night, and Saturday afternoon. The Salvation Army holds worship on Sunday
morning and night. On Wednesday they also get together and separate in to age groups to learn
more about Jesus.
The Army also holds donations in familiar places like; Wal-Mart, K mart,
Target, and Malls, etc. The Salvation Army beliefs are based on the eleven doctrines. Provided
by the Salvation Army Summary;
"We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were given by inspiration
of God; and that only they constitute the divine rule of Christian faith and practice.
We believe that there is only one God who is infinitely Perfect - the Creator, Preserver
and Governor of all things - and who is the only proper object of religious worship.
We believe that there are three persons in the Godhead - the Father, the Son and the
Holy Ghost - undivided in essence and co-equal in power and glory.
We believe that in the person of Jesus Christ the divine and human natures are united, so
