Hello everybody. Today I hope to shed some light on some facts about life that go unnoticed in our everyday activities. Things that we do almost everyday, but we don’t know whether they make sense or not. My topic is on the senseless actions of the previous and current society.

Let me analyse this fact now. First of all, I don't understand the whole concept of why would someone want somebody else's name printed on their undergarments? People competing with each other, displaying the names of their boxers. That makes no sense at all. Like Bossini and Calvin Klein, why do people have to be so boastful? Just because a nice name is printed on their undergarments, example, "Hey, mine are Bossini", and the other person says "So what, Calvin Klein are mine". Have they even met these people? Of course not. Then why be so proud? Well, let's move on to the next topic.

Let's get one thing straight about dry cleaning right now. It doesn't exist. There's no such thing as dry cleaning. There's no way of cleaning with dry. Dry itself is nothing. You can't use it. You can't do anything with it. It's not there. Dry is nothing. We walk into these places with the big signs out front, "Dry Cleaning," and somehow no one ever questions how they were able to put this senseless concept over on us. In actuality, the clothes are cleaned by special solvents yet they’re called dry cleaning which sounds as if they’re actually cleaned with dry, which is impossible.

I don't know about you, but I'm getting sick of pretending to be excited every time it's somebody's birthday. What is the big deal? How many times do we have to celebrate that someone was born? Every year, over and over... All you did was not die for twelve months. That's all you've done, as far as I can tell.

Now let me talk about dating. Dating is a pressure and tension. What is a date really, but a job interview that lasts all night? The only difference between a date and a job is that you get paid after you're selected to do the job, whereas you end up spending more than you thought while dating.

There are so many other things that people like you and I do that don’t make sense, spraying perfume and colognes on their palms and hands. Why would someone smell your palms? That’s not all. The mad cow disease, the cow hasn’t created that disease, then why are the cows to be blamed. We drink from them, we eat from them, and when they get a disease because of us, we somehow blame the cow to be mad.

Well I hope that you've understood a meaning out of all this rather than just ignoring this whole concept. I’d like to end my speech with a famous quote.

Begin Quote: “We're consumers. We are by-products of a lifestyle obsession. Murder, crime, poverty, these things don't concern me. What concerns me are celebrity magazines, television with 500 channels, some guy's name on my underwear.” End quote.

This is exactly what today’s society is concerned about. The primary motive for this speech is for you to start looking at the things around you with a different perspective.
