The Pilot

Is there that one prince charming that turns out to be mister right? For 6 years long we have been following the lives of Carrie Bradshaw and her "soul mates" Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha, while they are searching for "these guys to have fun with". Will the lives of these 4 single successful women stay loveless on that sexy island Manhattan full of men?

Carrie had been a muse to the fashion industry from the very start of the show, but now when it has come to an end, we had to wave goodbye that muse, that had reached the hearts of every "single" one of us.

Sex and the City was defining a new lifestyle where it is ok to be single, fun and successful where Sex and the city was a valentine to being single.

Has Sex and the City caused a worldwide sexual revolution? Or is it just a glimpse of what we would wish our lives where like? Nevertheless it was an eye-opener to many men because it reflected the other side of women that before the show not many men had known about.

Once upon a time there was a girl named Carrie Bradshaw...

In the very first episode, Carrie makes a statement which provides the framework for Sex and the City. "No one had told her about the end of love in Manhattan," Carrie said. "Welcome to the age of un-innocence." Women have always been taught and programmed to believe that love is what they want, but now that it has "flown away" what is left? They can only conclude that what is left is sex. Whether the women of New York will trade in love for the power of sex was to been seen the past 6 seasons.
