There are many pictures of the Apollo missions that some people say are evidence that N.A.S.A. faked the missions to the Moon. The shadows and reflections in a lot of these pictures make people say that there were two light sources, and that could only be possible if it was filmed somewhere other than the Moon. This is not the case in these pictures there are scientific reasons why all of these pictures have irregularities.
The shadows in a lot of N.A.S.A.'s pictures are very irregular. Shadows are supposed to be parallel lines, all going in the same direction, and be the same size. This is not what the Apollo pictures show. In the pictures taken from the Apollo missions on the Moon the shadows in the pictures are not all the same length and are not all parallel to each other. The people that believe in the conspiracy believe that this is reason enough to say that the pictures were not taken on the Moon.

If in fact there were two different light sources wouldn't that cast two different shadows from each object. The reasoning behind the irregularities in the shadows is simple. The surface of the Moon is not a flat surface it is filled with hills, dips, and holes.
If you take a picture of someone on a flat surface and someone on a hill the person on the hill will have a longer shadow, and it will be cast in a different direction. This is demonstrated by a very simple diagram.
This diagram shows how if you are on an uneven surface your shadow will differ when you are on a flat surface. This is also true for little dips and curves in an area. Even a group of little rocks can cast different directions as long as there on an uneven landscaping. This isn't just true for the lunar landscaping it happens on earth everyday it just goes unnoticed. Next time your out on a sunny day look for some of these irregularities you may be surprised to find that it happens more than you think.
Another irregularity in the photographs on the moon is that there are reflections in the visors of the astronauts and in complete shadows the astronauts can still be seen. This is a very simple explanation. The reflections you see comes from the lunar surface. Have you ever been outside on a sunny day and the ground reflected the sun back up at you, this is exactly what happened on the Moon. The Sun reflected off the lunar surface and reflected into the astronauts visors causing them to act as mirrors. That is how you can see things in the visor of the astronauts helmet. Some people do not believe this reasoning they say that if it was like a mirror why didn't it reflect the image of the astronaut taking the picture. This is also a very easy explanation. Have you ever looked into a mirror, but you didn't look at yourself you looked away at something behind you. This is exactly what happened in the pictures. The astronaut wasn't pointing himself directly at the other astronaut taking the pictures he was facing another direction somewhat close to the astronaut taking the picture. This is why the picture does not show the astronaut taking the picture of him.
Another thing in question is why you can clearly see the astronaut in a shadow or when the sun is behind him. Shouldn't he just blend in with the shadow, or be a silhouette? This is also explained by the same reason as before. The lunar surface acted as a reflector. When the astronauts were in a dark shadow they could be seen because the light was reflected off of the ground and it lit the astronaut in the darkened shadow. This is the same reason why you can see the astronaut in the pictures where the sun is behind him. Yes, normally when the sun is behind you unless you have another light source you are seen as a silhouette. When you do have another light source or something is reflecting the light (in this case the lunar surface) you can be clearly seen.
This is some of the so called solid evidence that is supposed to prove that N.A.S.A. faked the whole thing and we never actually landed on the Moon. It is always a possibility that we didn't land on the Moon, but based on these facts it prove that we landed on the Moon.
