ABOUT THE WRITER:WILLIAM SHAKESPEAR William Shakespear was born in April of 1564. It is believed that he went to school at the King's New School in Stratford-upon-Avon. This was an excellent school in his time. After school when he was 18, he married Anne Hathaway. They later had three girls, Susanna, Hamnet, and Judith. He moved to London to pursue his acting and writing career in the early 1590's. That is where he became famous.

He wrote many tragedies, histories and comedies. Some things he wrote were Romeo + Juliet, Hamlet, Macbeth, and Titus Andronieus. After writing and acting, Shakespear moved back to Stratford-upon-Avon. He later died on April 23rd,1616. He was buried two days later inside the chancel of Holy Trinity in his home land. Seven years after his death all of his work was published in a book called theFirst Folio.

William Shakespear is a huge influence on writers today.
