Shaping the modern world

The way we live now and the way our ancestors lived were completely different. Back in the day there were no such things as phones, the internet or a lot of things that we use every day. All types of things like being able to use electricity, living somewhere other than a farm, drive a car, drink tap water are all thanks to the industrial revolution. There were all sorts of thing happening branching of the industrial revolution. This includes the industrial factor (production, inventions of machines), the transport factor (trains, trucks, cars) and the trade factor (countries exchanging products with other countries). At the same time the industrial revolution was happening, the French were having the own revolution, "the French revolution". The French revolution includes factors itself. These include liberalism, socialism and nationalism. They each have impact on our live now and back then wether it was political, economic or social.

First of all, there were three main things that shaped the modern world. These are the industrial revolution, the French revolution & imperialism. Starting with the industrial revolution, the Industrial Revolution began in England. It was a time in the late 18th and early 19th centuries when the life of ordinary people was changed dramatically forever. It was a time of a lot of different and amazing inventions, so industry developed so fast that society could barely keep up. The industrial revolution was insanely important and still is today, even though the industrial revolution happened in the 18th century. As was said before, there are three different aspects of the industrial revolution. These include; Industrialisation, transport and trade.
