In 1996, my family decided to go back to Iraq to see our relatives. We were in Jordon at that time, and I was 8 years old. It was Thursday morning; we prepared ourselves and went to the bus station. I, my brother, and sister sat in the back of the bus, my mom was in the other seat with my uncle; beside us. The bus was full of people and kids. I liked it that day, because I made two friends: one of them is 10 years old, and the other one was a doctor; he was a man! The bus stops every 35 minutes. We get to go out of the bus and breathe some fresh air, and we get to go to the washrooms if we have too. But I use to go to play with water and soup!
When we got back to the bus, we sat back in our seats.
It was a long way from Jordon to Iraq. It was boring and fun in the same time. The fun part was when I and my two friends play some games, and when we go out of the bus. But everything else was boring. The way from Jordon to Iraq takes about 39 hours in the bus.
At night everyone went to sleep. I was too sleepy and tired so went to sleep. The bus driver was driving the bus at night; beside him was his helper I call him the "co-driver", him and the driver take turns for driving the bus. At that night, the co-driver went to sleep.
