STATEMENT OF FATIH

For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank of angels-everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him.

Colossians 1:16

Jesus is God and the key to knowing God is having a relationship with Him. A personal relationship. God speaks to me differently than he speaks to others. Just because God spoke to Moses through a burning bush, doesn't mean I should go sit next to a burning bush waiting for God to speak. God used a fish to convict Jonah. However, that does not mean I should have worship service by a river. God is revealed personally to each person. For that reason, my walk with God has been essential. His heart is not seen in an occasional chat or a weekly visit. I have learned His will as I take residence in His house every single day. Walk with Him long enough and you come to know his heart.

Adam and Eve's sin was two fold: First, they did not obey God's word and wisdom. They were told not to eat of a certain tree, and they ate. We can assume that the command to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil was in the best interest of humanity. Second, Adam and Eve desired to be "like God." Instead of relying on God's wisdom, the first humans decided that they would rather trust themselves, and as a result, sin enters the world.

We remember that original sin does not refer to the first sin...
