Born on February 24, 1955 in San Fransisco, Steve Jobs was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. Steve had one sister named Patty. Patty was adopted about three years after Steve. Steve was extremely smart but did not like school, in his words "I was pretty bored in school and turned into a little terror." He was later straitened out by his fourth grade teacher who Steve said "She was one of the saints in my life." His skills became apparent and he was able to skip 5th grade and move on to the middle school. The one problem he had was the Crittenden middle school was not exactly a five star school, Steve insisted his parents moved to Los Altos to attend Cupertino schools in 1967.

Electronics would become Steve's number one hobby. Steve now going to Homestead High school, took his first electronics class were he befriended Bill Fernandez.

Bill shared his passion for his electronics and introduced Steve to another electronics whiz named Steve Wozniak many called him Woz. Bill and Woz built their first computer out of spare electronic parts, they called it the "flair pen and cream soda computer." Jobs who took interest in this computer started to bond with Woz. They both started to sell Woz's "blue boxes" for about 150 to 300 dollars until it became too illegal to be safe.

After High school, Steve's parents asked Steve too pick a college. Steve chose Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Reed known for liberal arts, was one of the most expensive institutions in American. After six months Steve was receiving extremely poor grades, and in his words:After six months, I couldn't see the value in it. I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was...
