An organization that makes an effort to manage quality and have satisfied customers will have a control system that gives the company a reliable reputation and the ability to be cost efficient. The following will discuss how quality is linked to Riordan Manufacturing's strategic plan and objectives. An analysis of a process improvement plan that Riordan Manufacturing currently uses will also be identified. In addition, examples of the tools and techniques used to measure quality and customer satisfaction within Riordan Manufacturing will be explained. Finally, the group whom has ultimate responsibility for quality assurance will be identified and the extent to which Riordan Manufacturing's process improvement plan is related to their organization's strategic plan will be discussed.
