"Footprints"This is my number one anchor and is something that I continually resort back to in times of need. The poem illustrates a set of footprints along the beach and talks about the relationship between man and God. The man is talking to God and recapping his life on earth and noticed that during what seemed to be the hardest times in the mans life, there were only one set of footprints in the sand, indicating to the man that God had left him in his time of need. However, God replied to his child that "during these times that you see only one set of footprints it was then that I carried you". This is a very powerful poem to me and has inspired me in times where I felt alone and in need of help.

Music: "My Baby" by Blake SheltonMusic has always been a passion of mine.

It seems that no matter what mood you are in there is a type of music that can satisfy or calm your emotions. This song sung by country star Blake Shelton is a favorite of mine because it reminds me so much of my relationship with my mother. The song explains the relationship between a mother and her son and how close they were in comparison to the other children. Towards the end of the song, the mother gets sick and dies before her son got a chance to say good bye. Although this song is very sad and usually makes me cry when I hear it, I love the emotion that I feel when I hear the song. The relationship that my mother and I share is very similar and this song will always have special meaning to me.

Movie: "I am Sam"Movies are another passion that I enjoy.
