I tend to carry a definite amount of things that can tell a story about me. There are a few that I can say really describes my personality, however the one thing that stands out above all is my determination and will to conquer the challenges in life.
At times in my life, I have envisioned would the things I carry weigh anything in my life, and I have come to the conclusion that the one thing I carry will have an impact on my life. Determination has been with me for over 17 years and I have never thought anything of it however, as my 18th year birthday arrive, I know that determination is key. As a child, I did not grow up in a high income home nor did I have all the things I needed but I still had the determination that I will one day conquer this voyage.

Robert FrostI know this to be true because I have witnessed people in my family overcome the battleship. Time progressed and I was able to read a piece of poetry that encouraged me to reach above my expectations. I read "The Road not Taken" by Robert Frost, whose poem has encouraged me to take the road that has not been taken. By taking this road, I am determined to find better results and prove the individuals that doubt me wrong.
I am able to choose the things I carry and how these things can shape my life. I choose determination as a significant symbol to my personality because it expresses that I will not give up.
