Did you know 1/3 of all crime, victims were ages 12-19? Teenage Crime is a very big threat we have today. Every year Teenage Crime rates increase. It seems to me parents are giving their children night-time curfews but I think it achieves very little.

One of the major causes of teenage crime have to do with drugs. First of all, drugs are illegal. Taking drugs are illegal, drug dealing is illegal. Second, when you take drugs, it takes over your body. When you start, it is very easy to get addicted. When you take drugs, you do not know what you're doing. For example: Five Dodge City, Kansas, teenagers, high on marijuana, killed a stranger for no reason at all. Another example: Three West Palm Beach, Florida, teenagers mixed beer, rum, marijuana, and cocaine, then kidnapped and set ablaze a tourist from Brooklyn.

It's late at night and you want to hang out with a few friends.

Your friends convince you to go to a party with them. You're dancing, having fun and all of a sudden a random girl comes up to you and gives you a drink, you say no thanks. But the girl next to you says thanks and takes the drink. You need to use the washroom so you leave the dance floor, you come back and the girl is on the floor, she's dead! Late night parties, you don't know what goes on...

Once you reach the age 13 you ask your parents for a later curfew. You reach the age 15 and your parents increases your curfew to 10:00. Parents think if their child doesn't stay up too late they won't get into trouble, but, it has been said as a fact that most teenage crime occurs between the hours of 3...
