These are the words no parent wants to hear from their teenager. Today in America alone, there are rising number of teen pregnancies among the different races. While it may be hard to believe, the U.S. has the highest teen pregnancy in the world. The reason why teen pregnancies occur is due to many possible reasons. Most of the teen mothers are either keeping their child or getting an abortion because they cannot afford to take care of the child. Teen pregnancy rates in the U.S. should be kept down because, it causes problems within the family of a pregnant teen, most teenage mothers cannot afford to keep their children, and the children of teenage mothers are more likely to be born prematurely or even aborted.
To start off on why teen pregnancy rates should go down is because it can create problems within the families if the pregnant teen.
