Terrorism is the use of force or violence against people or property. Terrorism includes severe violent actions committed by terrorist groups. Terrorist often use threats to create fear among the public, to try to convince that their government is powerless to prevent terrorism, and to get immediate publicity for their causes. Terrorism has a great impact on people's lives. I think people need to be accountable for their actions and need to be brought to justice, if we don't; everyone is going to continue to live in fear. Terrorist groups such as the Taliban, who took over Afghanistan, in 1997 are disturbingly, very powerful. Many people believe that the Taliban and Bin Laden are responsible for the atrocity in New York. 90 percent of Afghan people do not agree with the Taliban, yet they do not have enough power to stop them or their actions. I think that the women are suffering the most from all this cruelty.

The women who once made up 70 percent of the working population are no longer allowed to work and are even forbidden to go to school or educate their daughters! All the rights have been taking away from the Afghanistan women, they are not even allowed to leave their own house without being accompanied by their husband. The Taliban cannot understand why it should be the world's business when they, for instance, amputate the hand of a thief, or stone to death an adulterer. The Taliban lack the logic of today's world. Women's self-esteem is being destroyed making the suicide rates of females jump drastically. The men who must be fully bearded, have to be covered from nee to navel while swimming. Women are not allowed to swim because they must be covered from head to toe at all times. The rules...
