The United States is widely known for having freedom of speech. However, when do we draw the line on how we express our views about our country and the rest of the world. I believe that everyone has the right to their opinion but that doesn't necessary mean you need to take it to the extreme. Some things are better kept to yourself, to prevent further difficulties in the future. I really believe that the United States could get along with the rest of the world, if we would start supporting our government in their decisions and not speaking out against them.

When I think about what is happening in the world today. How even our own people are starting to go against us, it makes me think about how much we are really losing our patriotism. We are so lucky to live in a country where women are not treated like possessions and where we have so many opportunities.

There is no place in the world that has all the privileges that we do. Yet we still have people who find fighting to keep our freedom is wrong. I don't understand how you can publicly express you're resentment towards our President when he is trying to figure out what is best for our country.

Regarding Iraq, many people feel going to war with them was wrong. I have heard of many celebrities including the Dixie Chicks stating they feel ashamed of Bush. That is not the kind of thing that is needed to be said. We didn't go to war with Iraq to gain anything ourselves or take their oil. We are trying to bring them democracy and rid them of Saddam.
