Taking an exam is something everyone has to do at least once in their lives. Everyone has different study habits, but hopefully they're the right ones for doing good on an exam. The study habits I have are the ones that I've been doing my whole life. How I study, what I do the night before the exam, and what I do the day of the exam are key factors on how I do so good.

Studying is something that takes time and practice so you can be able to accomplish a good grade. First of all, what I like to do when I study is read my notes. I take very good notes when a teacher is lecturing on any subject. I use a certain type of note taking called T-notes. If the teacher makes it hard for me to take notes, I bring a voice recorder to class to tape his/her's lecture.

Second, I like to look over the chapters that the test is going to be on. Also, I like to look over the chapter reviews so I can get a good idea on what was said on the chapter I just reviewed. Third of all, I like to have someone like my girlfriend quiz me on notes cards. I like to make up questions that I think are going to be on the exam so I can study better for the test. Studying does take time and practice, but once you figure out your own way of studying you will do better on the exam or text you are taking.
