Total Quality Management (TQM) has been around in the business world for sometime now. The business world today is fiercely competitive in almost every industry, be it domestic or international, regardless of the product or service. Organizations of all scales are faced with numerous emerging trends and innovations that impact its marketing mix. Still, what remains at the heart of business is attaining, maintaining, and increasing customers for its products.

" Total Quality Management is a comprehensive and structured approach to organizational management that seeks to improve the quality of products and services through ongoing refinements in response to continuous feedback" (Ross J.E. 1999). The practice of Total Quality Management can be considered a style of management which has a central focus on providing many customers with services and products that will satisfy their wants as well as their needs. Total Quality Management is the new and improved management style that has changed the look on traditional management styles forever.

Traditional management styles focused on the quality of products or services that were provided by organizations. These products were to be in top quality shape, and if the organizations had done their best in producing a particular product then this was to be known as wonderful management, as the products were quality rated. Total Quality Management focuses on the number one focus which is the customer whom is the decider of the quality.

Total Quality Management styles unlike, Traditional Management styles call for a large amount of team work. Due to the team work, problems are identified correctly as well as solutions are well planned. There are several differences between Traditional Management styles vs. the Total Quality Management style.
