It was late July early August. My mom and dad were planning are summer vacation. My mom decided to ask my aunt if our cousin could go with us, and she said yes. We started packing on Wednesday that way we wouldn't have to rush. That night we loaded our car up with our luggage. We left in the morning at about 5:00 a.m. We arrived in Daytona Beach Florida at about lunchtime.
That night we went to the boardwalk to play some games. We got back the Motel room around 12:30 a.m. we went upstairs to our room and changed our clothes that way we could go swimming. That night we all went to bed early because we have been up for a long time. My mom and dad went to bed before I did so I watched a couple of movies about tornados and hurricanes.
A couple of days went by and we have been watching the news about this hurricane that was heading our way and we didn't think anything about it.
