At Pike's Place Fish Market, the biggest part of their communication is treating everybody with the respect they deserve as human beings, not just if you are a customer that is buying fish but everyone that an employee comes in contact with. The employees are committed to making a difference for the customer for that moment. This was very evident in the video; the employees were interacting with the potential customers and at times were even having fun with them. They were also entertaining the guest by their famous fish throw. This fun-loving atmosphere made the people around the market feel invited and relaxed.

Pike's Place Fish Market's management style is management by inspiration.

It is their belief that if you want a company that produces outrageous results you have to open up the employees' creativity. Then take that inspired creativity of each employee and aligning it to the same purpose. Management believes that the best way to manage that kind of group is to stay out of their way because the collective thoughts of the team is far better than the idea of one.

This organizational philosophy signifies that the best employee performance is obtained when employees are inspired to achieve their best and are included decision process as creative beings. Pike Place Fish Market embraces concepts that are focused on the personal growth of each of its employees. The organization provides strong encouragement for the open creativity of the workers.
