War with Iraq

In the recent weeks, U.S. President George W. Bush has been pushing for the United Nations to go to war with Iraq. Bush feels that it is time to neutralize a threat before there is definetally a more serious threat upon our world. The United Nations have not made the decisions on weather or not we should attack Iraq and begin the third World War. After witnessing the tragedy that occurred on September 11, 2001, I know what a heartless, cowardly and powerful their country really is. I think that we should go to war with Iraq because we need to disarm Suddam Husseinns' arsenal of weapons of mass destruction before he has another opportunity to destroy more innocent people.

Iraq's military possesses an extremely large arsenal of biological and chemical weapons that I'm sure they intend on using. Iraq forces are experienced in the deployment of chemical or biological weapons in the artillery they use.

Such weapons are mustard gas, nerve agents, and botulinium toxins. The still have some long range scud missiles to deploy these agents around the Middle East or at military institutions. Also, Iraq has developed an unmanned aerial vehicle with a range of about 300 miles. If troops were to deploy this vehicle, they could spray agents into the oxygen supply of several countries and military bases (Barnett). In turn, this would definitely cause chaos in the Middle Eastern countries as well as cause damage to U.S. military.

There is also a high possibility of terrorists gaining control of these weapons. There is no doubt that the Al Qaeda or other terrorist groups would love to deploy these weapons of mass destruction.
